Blast from the Past

It's been forever since I updated this and because I am procrastinating from going to the gym, I might as well write something. The last couple of weeks I have been talking to some of my old high school friends and people from my past. It has been refreshing, yet a little depressing. It is always interesting to see where your friends end up... especially those you were really close to and thought for sure they would make something magnificent out of their life. It definitely makes me grateful for the life I lead despite my feelings of inadequacy for certain events I would like to have happen.

My mom came across an old floppy disk a couple months ago and found this picture on it. It was taken in my junior year of high school. Yes, I was a goof troop then too. Some things just do not change! Jessica and Shane, the couple in the picture, are some of my close friends.

I have always believed that you can tell someone is your best friend if you can go years without seeing/talking to them, and then when you do reunite everything is the exact same as though they have been with you the entire time...a lot of fun, laughter, and no awkwardness. A couple weeks ago I went to a bridle shower for one of my best friends from high school, Amber Mansius(Right). I met up with, Suzette Allred(Left), another one of my friends from high school too. We have barely spoken or seen each other in the past 4 years, but upon reuniting with them, I have to say that I have never had so much fun in my life! We just picked up where we left off and did nothing but laugh! We did not go to the same school, yet the three of us were pretty inseparable. We were in the same ward and without these girls I don't know where I would be today. My high school had a very little LDS population in it and with them as examples made me become part of who I am today. Everytime I am around them I realize how lucky I am to have such good friends.
